Thirty-three positions.
A standard tri-axle deck measures 13.60 metres by 2.40. A Euro pallet measures 1.20 by 0.80. Three stand across the width and eleven down the length, which is where the figure of thirty-three comes from and why it has never moved. Take the positions you need, in any order. Then give each one its weight, its height and its drop, and the page will tell you what the axles are carrying.

The deck read from above, headboard at the top. Every position is independent: take one at the tail and nothing else, and the plan is as valid as a full deck. A taken position shows its place in the loading order and its weight.

Axle limits, weights and dimensions vary by state, by route and by permit; what is drawn here is a well-founded picture, not a legal determination, and the rules of the roads actually driven take precedence over anything on this page. The figures assume a conventional tri-axle curtainsider, the tare is whatever was entered, and the weights are whatever was typed. What the page is good for is arriving at a shared picture before the first letter is written, which is usually where the time goes.
